Glass Balcony Beaded Cord, Plastic (1,250 Meters)

Plastic Beaded Glass Balcony Cord – 1,250 Metres

Plastic Beaded Glass Balcony Cord is a practical, cost‑effective connection component that guides and synchronises the opening and closing mechanisms of folding glass balcony systems. Its specially arranged beads ensure glass panels move in perfect unison. Supplied on a large 1,250‑metre spool, it is the ideal choice for serial production, large‑scale projects, and maintaining consistent stock levels.

Product Advantages

• Cost‑Effective: Significantly more affordable than metal‑beaded alternatives; delivers reliable performance without compromise on quality for budget‑conscious projects
• Quiet Plastic‑Bead Design: Glides silently within pulleys and channels – no metal‑on‑metal noise or accelerated wear
• Lightweight & Flexible: Adds no extra load to the mechanism; does not sag or stretch under its own weight for extended service life
• Large 1,250‑Metre Spool: Enables uninterrupted installation; simplifies stock management and substantially reduces per‑metre material cost
• UV & Weather Resistant: Specially formulated plastic and synthetic core retains colour and strength under prolonged exposure to sun, rain, and temperature fluctuations
• Easy Installation: Can be cut to exact required lengths; beads provide automatic alignment reference, cutting on‑site adjustment time
• Universal Compatibility: Direct interchangeable replacement for the vast majority of standard‑pitch beaded systems; no fitting or dimension issues

Installation & Usage Guidelines

• Clean pulleys and channel interiors thoroughly before removing old cord; dust and debris accelerate wear
• Feed new cord through channels ensuring beads seat correctly; skipped or misaligned beads disrupt system synchronisation
• Set tension to optimum level – over‑tightening causes premature wear; excessive slack results in misaligned panels
• Make cuts only in the clear sections between beads; secure ends with robust knots or compression ferrules
• Inspect periodically; replace at the first sign of bead cracking, wear, or thinning of the cord core
• Do not apply chemical cleaners, oils, or tar‑based products – these degrade plastic and synthetic materials
• Keep away from open flames and high‑heat sources

Frequently Asked Questions

How does it differ from metal‑beaded cord?
Plastic‑beaded cord is lighter, quieter, and more economical; fully adequate for indoor and standard outdoor conditions. Metal‑beaded stainless steel versions are recommended for coastal locations, high humidity, and salt‑air environments.

What length is supplied?
Each spool holds exactly 1,250 metres – designed for continuous use on large projects and efficient bulk storage.

Suitable for hot and cold climates?
Operating range spans -15 °C to +65 °C – fully reliable under typical Turkish weather conditions.

Does it fit all systems?
Compatible with all glass balcony mechanisms using standard‑pitch beaded cord. Always verify bead spacing against your existing system before ordering.
