Metal Beaded Cord for Glass Balconies (500 Meters)

Metal Beaded Glass Balcony Cord – 500 Metres

Product Description

Metal Beaded Glass Balcony Cord is a specialised tension and guide cable constructed from stainless steel or nickel‑plated metal, designed to serve both functional and aesthetic roles in glass balcony systems. Supplied on a large 500‑metre spool, it is used to align and secure glass panels while adding a refined decorative finish.

• Direct replacement for worn or failed cord in existing systems

Product Advantages

• Stainless steel construction delivers exceptional corrosion resistance against rain, snow, humidity, and salt‑laden air
• Metal‑on‑mechanism design eliminates stretching, creep, and slippage; beads remain dimensionally stable
• Far longer service life than plastic‑beaded alternatives; immune to fatigue, brittle fracture, and UV degradation
• Reflective metallic finish enhances appearance; adds a premium, contemporary aesthetic to balconies
• Large continuous‑length spool ensures uninterrupted supply for large‑scale projects and lowers per‑metre cost
• Superior tensile strength; safely supports heavy glass panels without elongation or sagging
• Flexible cable core allows straightforward installation; can be cut to exact required lengths on site

Installation & Maintenance Guidelines

• Clean mechanism channels and pulleys thoroughly before removing old cord
• Feed new cord through carefully; ensure beads seat correctly – do not force or distort them
• Set tension to the manufacturer’s recommended range; over‑tightening shortens life, insufficient tension reduces performance
• Cut only between beads; secure terminations with properly sized knots or compression ferrules
• Inspect periodically; replace if corrosion, bead wear, or misalignment appears
• Clean only with a soft damp cloth; avoid chemical cleaners or abrasive polishes

Frequently Asked Questions

How does it compare to plastic‑beaded cord?
Metal beads do not stretch, expand, or degrade with time. Unlike plastic variants, this cord retains its original performance even in constant sunlight, moisture, and coastal exposure while maintaining a permanently premium appearance.

Suitable for coastal locations?
Yes – manufactured from AISI 316 marine‑grade stainless steel, it offers maximum resistance to salt spray and atmospheric corrosion, making it the preferred choice for seaside developments.

Compatible with all glass balcony systems?
Fits all mechanisms designed for standard‑pitch beaded cord. Always verify bead spacing and dimensions against your existing system before ordering.

Can it be cut to shorter lengths?
Yes – supplied on a continuous spool, cut exactly to the lengths you need; unused remainder can be stored for future repairs or installations.
